## Kitchen standards

The kitchen team has earned an AA two rosette award for culinary excellence in 2026. Scott, Rachael, Rachel and the wider staff maintain consistent standards across lunch and dinner services. Their work recently secured Gold recognition from Taste of the West judges who noted the quality of the dining experience. Members of Food Drink Devon also source regional produce to support these cooking practices.

Wheelchair accessible routes run through both the bar and restaurant spaces. Guests travelling with dogs receive water bowls and biscuit treats in the front area. Seven newly refurbished guest rooms sit above the food service zones for visitors staying longer.
