The story
Chef Mus launched La Table de Mus in Brussels in 2015, establishing a kitchen dedicated to seasonal cuisine. The team draws on lessons learned from seasoned sommeliers and hospitality professionals before Mus settled into his role. The restaurant has continuously refined its approach since inception, building on years of mentorship under experts like Ayse Ucar. This dedication to quality and creativity has yielded consistent acclaim, including the Delta d'Or from Guide Delta and a 13.5 score in the 2026 Gault&Millau guide. Mus guides the kitchen with a philosophy centered on natural preparation and originality.
The menu relies on carefully chosen produce prepared with a distinct point of originality. Guests navigating the seasonal cuisine encounter structured menus named Freedom, Love, and Mus, ranging from four to six courses. Wine-combined packages are available for these evening selections, while cheese plates carry a supplementary charge. The lunch service provides a more accessible entry point at 51 euros for three services, located away from the noise of the square. Substitutions require prior notice and trigger a fifteen-euro fee.
Situated at Place de la Vieille Halle aux Blés 31, the dining room sits just steps from the historic center yet offers refuge from urban stress. The space aims to foster a convivial atmosphere where guests can focus on the meal. Evening visitors can utilize parking at Albertine nearby. The establishment sets clear parameters for its audience, stating the gastronomic cooking is not adapted for children under fourteen. The venue observes an annual closure from July 20 to August 20 and requires exact group confirmation, billing absentees at the menu price.
