Saison by Mauro Colagreco delivers refined cuisine to London, occupying a Grade II* Edwardian Baroque building on Whitehall. The dining room sits steps away from Horse Guards Parade and St James’s Park. This central base connects directly to the West End theatres and Covent Garden nightlife. The surrounding neighbourhood offers easy access to Waterloo and Charing Cross train terminals. Guests can also walk to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.

The chef and the wine programme

Chef Mauro Colagreco lends his creative vision to the kitchen, where precision meets seasonal refinement. The accompanying wine cellar complements the cuisine with a philosophy inspired by Britain’s trading history. Selections separate into former British territories and global trade routes, highlighting estates that follow sustainable practices. Director of Wine Vincenzo Arnese curates this collection, drawing on over twenty years of experience across Switzerland, Australia, and the UK. His grandfather originally introduced him to wine, shaping his early interest.

Recognised culinary excellence

The kitchen recently secured the 2026 AA Rosettes award, earning three rosettes specifically for its commitment to gourmet cuisine. This recognition reflects the consistent quality delivered through every service, whether through the main dining room or the curated Secrets & Spies Afternoon Tea in the elegant Drawing Room. Visitors can enhance their afternoon session with loose-leaf teas sourced worldwide. Past collaborations included an Espionage Menu crafted alongside BBC MasterChef semi finalists, celebrating the building’s own spy history.
