The story
Delamina Townhouse brings Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to a restored Georgian building in Covent Garden. Limor leads the kitchen alongside her husband Amir, guiding the menu with an intuitive, self-taught approach shaped by her father’s passion for Middle Eastern and European cooking. Her recipes prioritize grilling and roasting to highlight raw ingredients, which earned the restaurant two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence this year. She recently translated these methods into a debut cookbook that captures the same health-conscious spirit found on the plates.
The dining rooms preserve original period features while introducing contemporary furniture and Limor’s own paintings. The Big Snug accommodates twenty guests, while the Drawing Room and Arts Room extend capacity to fifty for private gatherings. Tall windows cast natural light onto stone floors, framing a quiet space away from the theatre district footfall. Upholstered seating and adjustable pendant lamps complete the geometric layout.
Vegetable-forward preparations sit alongside roasted meats and grain bowls, all built around slow-cooked aromatics and olive oil. The bar mirrors the kitchen’s botanical focus by serving house cocktails infused with the same herbs and spices used in daily prep. A curated wine list draws heavily from regional vineyards, pairing easily with the leaner protein choices across the local menu. Every plate reflects a straightforward philosophy where quality produce and careful heat do the heavy lifting.
