The restaurant occupies the former assembly hall of St. Olave's Grammar School, a Grade II listed building designed by architect E.W. Mountford. Soaring ceilings and heritage detailing preserve the space's Victorian architecture while hosting the dining room. Iconic blue chandeliers hang above the tables, creating a striking backdrop for the evening service.
The kitchen earned the 2 AA Rosettes award for culinary excellence, confirming Baluchi's status as a signature fine-dining destination. Guests dine where the LaLiT Group has combined over 125 years of heritage with modern luxury since transforming the site in 2017. The architecture remains rooted in the building's origins as a centre for learning under Edward Mountford's design.
