The story
Following a successful six-month pop-up during summer 2022, Escala Tapas returned as a permanent addition to Clevedon's dining scene after a full refurbishment. Situated at 12 The Beach, this modern Spanish tapas bar focuses on dishes from the sea while framing every meal with exceptional views of the local Grade I listed pier. The transition from seasonal event to year-round address highlights the sustained interest in the restaurant's coastal concept.
The kitchen builds its reputation on a menu centered around seafood, using the Spanish tapas format to showcase the variety of catches available locally.
