Perched at the top of the slipway on one of Jersey’s most attractive sandy bays, Green Island Restaurant offers a dining experience defined by its setting. The restaurant boasts uninterrupted views out to sea from a sun-drenched terrace, with the choice of al fresco dining or a relaxed, elegant dining room.
The kitchen’s style carries a clear Mediterranean influence, seen in both the cooking and the ambiance. The menu focuses on fresh local seafood, prepared in a vibrant, modern way. Royal Bay oysters on crushed ice, crispy grilled sardines with garlic and lime, and squid with chorizo and crispy chilli are typical of the approach. A daily selection of seasonal dishes changes with market availability, featuring local crab, scallops wrapped in pancetta, and wild turbot, bass, or seabream. Meat-eaters and vegetarians are also well catered for, and a carefully selected wine list accompanies each course.
This commitment to quality and setting has earned the restaurant a place in the Michelin Guide, receiving a Recommended distinction for 2026. Open year-round, five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday, it’s an easy destination with ample free parking.
