STABLE Restaurant, Edegem: Instinctive Pure Cuisine in a 17th-Century Stable

The Founders and the Kitchen

STABLE sits in Edegem, occupying the eastern carriage house of Hof Ter Linden, a 17th-century castle domain south of Antwerp. Founders Njegos Kalicanin, Goran Stamenkovic, and Aleksandar Davidovic channeled their instinctive urge for genuine food into this project. They built an uncompromised attitude around a pure cuisine grounded in fresh and honest ingredients. The kitchen delivers intense and powerful flavors while maintaining a strict respect for simplicity.

Light, Dark, and Monumental Materials

Designer Dieter Vander Velpen shaped a darkened, sensorial environment that honors the structure's history within a forested area lined with lime trees. Arno Declercq designed a custom bar sculpture to reinforce the raw and monumental aesthetic. Pure noble materials stay stripped of any excess, keeping raw traces of the past visible alongside welded contrasts of light and darkness. Guests encounter a purified setting that demands they dive in headfirst and take it all in.

The young and ambitious team constructs a pure cuisine where instinct guides every decision behind the pass. Intense and powerful flavors unite in understandable yet surprisingly creations that honor the uniqueness of simplicity. STABLE provides lunch and dinner service, offering guests the chance to chase their own culinary instincts throughout the week.
