The story
At The Bull Steak Expert in Düsseldorf, Daniel Verón applies over fifty years of grilling expertise to an exclusively Argentinian steak menu. He refined his technique across European kitchens before launching this dedicated butcher-driven venue on Taubenstraße. Every preparation relies on hormone-free Angus and Hereford cattle raised freely across the fertile Argentinian grasslands. That natural upbringing translates directly into the texture and depth of each portion.
The kitchen pairs classic street fare with precisely graded beef selections. Diners typically begin with chorizo criollo or tender calf sweetbreads resting on crisp greens. The main course offers structured servings ranging from the compact Lady’s Cut to a substantial six-hundred gram Tira de Ancho. Many of these steaks receive a heavy crust of cracked black pepper before hitting the iron.
A clean, modern interior keeps the focus squarely on the meal and conversation. The wine list draws heavily from small family cellars in Mendoza, while occasional pours highlight extreme terroirs from Salta and Patagonia. This dedication to provenance earned the restaurant two spoons from the Schlemmer Atlas in 2026. Managing partner Claudia Verón maintains the rhythm of service so guests can linger comfortably.
